Springs Road Dairy Local Remembrance this Sunday at 1.40pm

Marco from Hornby

Just to confirm at 1.40pm this coming Sunday there will be a one minutes silence outside the Springs Road Dairy for the Hornby Community to observe and show our love and support to the Ismail Family who tragically lost their son Junaid. There was also a lot of other families affected by the events of 1 year ago and they will be remembered as well.

After the minutes silence Hornby Community Board Member Mr Mark Peters will lead us in prayer followed by addresses to those present from Hornby Councillor Cr Jimmy Chen and then our Community Board Chairperson and Hornby Ward Community Board Member Mr Mike Mora. Public will then be asked if anyone wants to speak.

Residents are encouraged to bring flowers and/or messages of support and place them at the Springs Road Dairy on Sunday to show our support.

If anyone has contact with the Riccarton Cricket Club we would love them to be represented at the rememberance.
