Merrin School security
The gate from Beatrice Place into the Merrin School grounds has been vandalized. The larger gate has been wrenched away from the hinges, obviously with some force, allowing it to be opened for cars to rip up the grass. This has happened overnight as it was fine yesterday when I used it. I looked up the school contacts but there is no after hours contact. Who is the contact for these issues?

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
