This is expertly managed by Nate (pictured) and Alyssa - great cats, sourced from Cat Rescue where they may have had much shorter lives, socialised and adopted to good homes, giving visitors the ability to chill out with them in a warm peaceful atmosphere whilst enjoying a coffee and a snack. Local friends plus my out of town friends and family have been taken here. No better place to leave your stresses behind for an hour.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
