WanderSearch Canterbury

Emma from Spreydon

Hello. My name is Emma and i work for WanderSearch Canterbury Charitable Trust.
WanderSearch Canterbury supports vulnerable individuals who are at risk of going missing to live healthy, active lifestyles, in the communities they love.
We support vulnerable individuals who are at risk of going missing by supplying radio frequency devices that can be worn by the individual and allow them to be found quickly by NZ Police and Land Search and Rescue, should they go missing.

We work with all age groups and conditions e.g. dementia, autism and brain injury to name a few. A device provides peace of mind for the individual and their families that should they go missing there are methods to assist in locating them quickly.

WanderSearch Canterbury strongly believes that income should not be a barrier to receiving this vital support which is why we supply devices on a loan basis.

You can learn more about our devices here: www.wandersearch.nz...

If this sounds like something you are interested in, you can get in touch by emailing info@wandersearch.nz or call 03 907 0072.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
