COVID precaution please everyone
Hello, thank you south Christchurch ... NOT! On today's supermarket trip (my first out since lockdown began) sighted were a majority of walkers and cyclists (at least 60%) who were not wearing masks! This despite clear advice to ALWAYS wear them when leaving home. Please comply and help keep everyone safe. Or just stay home instead. Many thanks :) FYI Level 4 lockdown has been extended until at least Tuesday night. Kia ora, kia kaha - CREST

Pedestrian access from one of Christchurch’s favourite streets is being extended all the way to the Ōtakaro Avon River. This new 12m-wide pathway will give you a direct, easy route from the street to the river promenade ... perfect for a stroll, a coffee run, or just soaking up the riverside vibes.
