Softball season is starting soon. Sydenham Kereru (based at Spreydon Domain) are looking for a few more players for some teams:
Due to an influx of girls, more under-9 t-ball girls are wanted to make a second t-ball team to allow everyone to get more time on the field. (Must be under 9 at 31 December 2019). Also looking for a couple more players for the under-15 boys and under-18 boys teams if anyone is interested. Games played on Saturday mornings (South Hagley Park for t-ball; Mizuno Ballpark in Pages Road for u-15 and u-18 boys teams). No prior experience necessary! Another 10 double passes to SIX60 have been drawn for our Neighbourly members! We have 100 double passes to give away as well as an exclusive concert by one of the supporting acts from the SIX60 tour.

We’ll also need to see you being more Neighbourly, whether it’s posting to your neighbourhood, replying to questions or inviting your neighbour to join the site (we’ve put together a few ideas here).

It's changed from a supportive platform to an advertising one instead. I just had a quick look and more than half the posts were either from Stuff asking for opinions or business advertisements. At the rate this is going I'll be leaving, I already get a mailbox full of advertising, don't need it here as well.
