Did you know that the Philipstown Community Hub is part of the Terracycle Programme?
This means that we are a collection point for certain waste products to be recycled.
We are enrolled in the Glad and Oral care collection programmes.
We are collecting any of the products below.
The products for the glad programme can be any brand (incl regular takeaway containers). They must be clean.
The oral programme will accept any brands also.
We need to send our first Glad shipment off in a couple of weeks. Please bring in anything that qualifys.

MetService has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Christchurch.
Thunderstorms this afternoon and evening are expected to bring heavy rain and hail to some places. There is also a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms developing, which could produce hail greater than 20mm in diameter. There have also been reports of a tornado.
Large hail can cause significant damage to crops, orchards, vines, glasshouses and vehicles, as well as make driving conditions hazardous.
This watch will be updated by 8:00pm this evening. Keep up to date here.
