Cat hit this afternoon Harrowdale Drive

Nic from Avonhead

Hello everyone a long shot but my Tonkinese was hit by a vehicle round 5pm on Harrowdale Drive, Nortons Road end appears driver would have been turning into Hillcrest Ave. My neighbours alerted us round 5.30pm and we are thankful for this. The cat is very distinctive looks just like a Siamese. She has an X-ray tomorrow morning and is currently on strong pain killers. If you witnessed this or were the driver we would appreciate knowing so we can work out how she was hit etc UNFORTUNATELY Pixie passed away this morning having 7 fractures so it must have been a big hit from the driver! Maybe I could find the driver hit them with my car and throw them in the gutter!! Next time will they hit a child and do the same ????

Flowers for free ????

Alastair & Barbara from Harewood

Very disappointed that our front garden had a 14 bud Christmas Regal Lilly cut and taken with several others last night, but what it lead others to do was worse damage. They ripped out other flowers and some may not recover. Do not come back tonight, as we are cutting all of them today.
