An open letter to Christchurch

Enable Fibre Broadband

In our coverage area, half of the home broadband services are now delivered over Enable fibre broadband.* If yours is one of these 75,000 homes, I thank you for your support and hope you are enjoying the benefits of what I believe to be the very best broadband available.

Our network traffic is growing everyday as we consume more online services, movies, shopping and games. Next year some major sporting events will only be available to watch online. Fibre broadband is your best option to enjoy a seamless online experience, so I urge you to get ready by connecting now.

Committed to ensuring our customers are ready for what’s coming, we recently doubled the speed of our residential wholesale 100Mbps service at no extra cost.

We’re also working hard to make it as easy as possible for you to move to fibre broadband – with more Saturday installations, more technicians and less impactful ways to connect your home.

In some cases, the monthly cost of fibre broadband is now less than older or slower broadband options. Right now, home fibre installation is free, so don’t miss out as the current offer ends 31 December 2019.**

Enable is community owned so it’s really your fibre network – by connecting to fibre you are making a positive contribution to our city. So, if you haven’t connected to fibre, I urge you to connect now.

Thank you

Steve Fuller
Chief Executive
