UPDATE! ZIGGY JUST CAME HOME!!! SOOOO RELIEVED! ZIGGY HASN’T COME HOME! WE ARE VERY WORRIED!
He always come for dinner and he hasn’t been seen since a bit after lunch time. He is microchipped and has a grey collar with a purple heart-shaped tag with his name and my number on it. If you have seen him please let me know. He is a Blue Burmese (grey colour). We live on Rose Rd and he visits the neighbours often.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
