With Auckland currently in Level 3, there has been much encouragement to maintain social distancing and also to wear masks in public.
But in view of the recent case of community transmission very likely via skin contact from lift buttons, the primary messages of “Wash your hands. Don’t touch your face,” have slipped off the radar. I would suggest that these are still essential tools in combating the viral spread.
