Soft tissue injuries and you!
Well the winter sports season has well and truly started!
We are seeing a lot of soft tissue injuries and most can actually be managed using the simple RICE acronym.
Rest (sit down)
Ice (ice the injured ankle for 20mins 3-4 times per day)
Compression (use a compression bandage)
Elevation (put your feet up!)
You can also use some simple pain-relief like paracetamol to ease the discomfort.
Keep this in mind over the weekend on the sports fields.
