Grief and Loss Support Group
Grief and Loss Support Services will be starting an adult support group on Saturday 17th August at the All Saints Community Centre in Hawick from 10.30 to 12. If you or anyone you know could benefit from this 6 week program then please get in touch. The group is friendly and others who have attended would describe it as being helpful in supporting the grieving process. Grief and loss may be of a partner, parent or child we also support through divorce and separation.

Kōnae has information on more than 60 state and faith-based organisations that have records for over 800 homes and places in Aotearoa New Zealand about people who have been in their guardianship or care.
The Kōnae map shows past and present places in Aotearoa New Zealand like children’s homes, hospitals, orphanages, boarding schools, Youth Justice facilities and many more.
Each place on the map has details about who was responsible for running it and how to get records.
The map can be searched and filtered by

- location
- date range
- religion
- type of organisation.
