Ashamed to go back to school

Going back to school without a school uniform or necessary supplies can make a child feel ashamed. Some kids avoid going to school altogether to escape the shame. Even if they go, they are so embarrassed, it knocks their confidence and makes it hard to learn.

You can help a child start the school year with everything they need to be confident and focused on learning. Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? 💰🌲

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
