Mindfulness can help with that.
It trains us to pay attention to the present moment. This protects us from this constant state of feeling we have to be rushing to the next thing. It helps us manage the racing, repetitive, and non-productive thoughts that lead to stress, and cultivate the state of calm that is the antidote to rushing.
