Have a go at lawn bowls at your local club on Wednesday evenings. Only $5 to play. All you need is flat-soled shoes. Stay for friendly bar service and an optional takeaway meal. Ditch the devices and have a great night out!
5.30pm for 6pm start. All ages and abilities.
5.30- 6.15 arrive , register and bowls practice, order your dinner *
6- 7.15 coaching, practice with game if wanted
7.15- 8.00 - dinner
* Dinner is from Kohi Fresh Fish & Takeaways (We love supporting our neighbours!) and guests order and pay upon registration/ by 6pm. CASH payment for take-away orders.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
