Awesome neighbour
My Awesome Neighbour is Ron McMillan of Glen Innes.<br>I have lived next door to Ron for over 20 years and I cannot fault him for his kindness of heart.<br>We both live alone. We have breakfast together most days - usually provided by Ron and we share our morning newspaper<br>He has looked after me when I have been sick or incapacitated with a broken foot, brought me meals on occasion; taken me to the doctor or hospital when needed and taken care of me as if I were his daughter. He has even taken me to and from work when my care has been out of commission. <br>He looks after my cat when I am away and keeps an eye on my house when required<br>I know I would be lost without him and hope I am as awesome to him as he is to me.<br>Bronni
Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times.
