French Chef prepared Special Bastille Dinner at Remuera Local Cafe & Bistro
We've just booked in to what looks like an amazing dinner for this coming Saturday 15th. I can't wait, it looks superb.
The French Chef at the Local has prepared a special menu for the night that looks mouth watering. My only regret is that I would not be able to try the different options available. Just sharing with neighbours because of what's on the menu and how good the chef is.
The restaurant has a 4.7/5 star rating and dinner is usually great. I forgot to mention the French wines! I am looking forward to this. Hope they do it more often.
You can book by phoning them 520-2900 or off the link in this ad. I'll see if I can post a picture of the menu in the link.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
