car on my tail tooting until i stopped

Andrea from Mission Bay

I went to pak-n-save tonight about 8pm and coming up the hill towards Mission Bay a dark greyish car started honking therey're horn at me. I was probably doing 52k and decided because of the road being wet i wouldn't go any faster, well when the car wouldn't stopped honking i stopped and got out and they backed away and the more i got closer the more they backed away again and as there was a car coming up the hill i decided to leave, but they got the message. It started to slowly come back up the hill and i watched in my mirror it looked like they went into the Mobil petrol station, was going to turn around but just wanted to get home with my shopping, and this is the second time this has happened, what about you? thanks Andrea

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
