MAKING PUDDLES
It is often the spontaneous activities that just happen within a kindergarten environment that are the ones with the greatest value. Today we had fun making a big puddle in the sandpit. After initially digging a hole we had lots of helpers to help fill it with water. Due to growing interest in the activity the hole needed to be made bigger to accommodate more children at once. Problem solving at its best followed by lots of negotiation as the children took turns having fun in our man made puddle. Learning is everywhere!
