This Could Save Your Life
Did you know cancer is NZ's biggest killer? Breast cancer, prostate cancer, leukaemia in our children and we have the highest incidence of melanoma skin cancer in the world.
One third of all deaths in NZ, one in every three, is cancer related.
So do you think it won't happen to you? Or to your family? I expect you all know someone who has suffered cancer, I certainly do, I lost my Dad to this horrible disease.
But science is starting to win the battle. New treatments and drugs are becoming available, remember, Keytruda? A huge success in treating melanoma across the world but do you also remember, not initially available to NZ'ers because the government wouldn't fund it for us through Pharmac.
That is not acceptable, NZ'ers should have access to all the latest cancer treatments and drugs if we want and need them. But it will happen again. And people will suffer and die while they wait.
So we protect ourselves with medical insurance, it's great for those that have it but are health insurance plans all equal? Check out the picture.
But now there is a solution. You can keep your existing medical cover and 'bolt on' a trauma plan and up to $500,000 per year of non-Pharmac approved drugs and non-surgical treatment. No messy changing of plans and provider, no worries about pre-existing or new conditions being covered. If the treatment is available and Medsafe approved, you can afford it. You can have it.
And if you don't have any medical cover at all, let's make sure that you get the right one from the start with all the non-Pharmac cancer cover included.
Call me on 027 940 0142 or email nigel@talkmoney.co.nz and let's discuss and price a Cancer Treatment Benefit plan for you and your family. It really could save your life.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
