Id just like to give a positive review to Foreshore Indian Restaurant in Botany where we ordered takeaway last night.
Im not from India but my two older kids grew up in Singapore where we had loads of choices for Indian cuisine which they love. Their cravings were satisfied. Usually it is sweet or off with other stores, but Foreshore’s biryani is so good! And the prawn malabari !
They are quite on the higher side in terms of price but i think it is because theyre a proper restaurant precovid instead of just a takeaway store. But the taste is worth it.
Please support them.
Kia ora Neighbours, A contested decision by politicians on the Upper Harbour Local Board to mow down 8,000 native plants and young trees, could bring a hefty bill. Council staff reject that there was a mistake in the planting, and now there could be a big bill. What do you think ?
Come along and watch a live & interactive demonstration of how villagers in the 1850's washed their clothes.
No washing machines around in those days, so come learn about the way they did it!
This demonstration is not only great to get kids involved with history, but also for adults to learn something new.
Free with admission. Purchase tickets at Admissions Desk at Howick Historical Village. Please have vaccine passes ready & please wear masks.
