Dairy Flat resident claims water run-off from new roundabout is washing away his land

Peter Brydon, who lives on four aces of land adjacent to the roundabout at the intersection of Dairy Flat Hwy and Coatesville-Riverhead Hwy, says he has watched his land slowly erode and scar ever since Auckland Transport installed a $10m roundabout.
“We’ve been living here for 20-something years, and we haven’t had any issue until they started doing the work.”
However, Auckland Transport says it is a private property issue and the underlying issues were not caused by the project.
