Missing Wasabi Cat
Hi Neighbours - we moved into the area (Whitworth Road) almost 4 weeks ago with our pets & one of our cats has gone missing late Sunday night after a cat fight with another local.
Wasabi had settled well but the fight has upset her and we haven’t seen her since, she may be hiding in a garage or shed so please keep a look out for her (she will have been sheltering from the terrible weather!)
I have been out looking and calling for Wasabi but I’ve had no luck. Wasabi is a small tabby & white female cat, she is 11 years old but looks like a younger cat.
If anyone sees her or notices a cat they haven’t seen before lurking around please call me on 021736888.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times.
