Full time Hammer Hand/Labourer Position in CBD - Parking Available

ammer Hand/Labourer required in a a fulltime roll to join a small team. They will be responsible for assisting a permanent maintenance contract - mainly concrete deck work, and other remedial work in a live site. You must have good knowledge of tools, materials and basic construction techniques. Be trustworthy as we are working inside homes and have good general fitness to do manual labour of bending, lifting etc. We also need a positive team attitude as we have a small cohesive team onsite - and value those that can fit in and work well with others. At least 1 reference will be required as well as police vetting. Please send a DM if you are interested in finding out more. Starting wages - $30- $35/hr. Thanks

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.

Can anyone please help with transporting supplies to the Tokoroa dog shelter?

Hello Neighbours
I’ve collating donations for the SWDC dog shelter (near-expiry food; towels, blankets, plastic beds, toys, etc). There’s enough already to fill a 4-wheel drive or big ute but, at least, a BIG boot full. It would be great to get this to the shelter (esp. the short-dated food) ASAP

If you have spare / unused stretcher beds, plastic dog baskets, bedding, food, metal food bowls, leads, collars, toys, etc which you'd like to donate, please contact me, many thanks
