Lawnman wanted
Hello,my lawnman is overseas for a while and while he had someone takeover this person has been a no show. Hope you can help as my trusty lawnmower puttered out,i only use it for the back section and the lawnman did the grass verge and the hilly part with a weed eater i think they're called. The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.

I think we’ve all seen the traffic notices and headlines about the new IKEA by now!

Can anyone please help with transporting supplies to the Tokoroa dog shelter?
Hello Neighbours
I’ve collating donations for the SWDC dog shelter (near-expiry food; towels, blankets, plastic beds, toys, etc). There’s enough already to fill a 4-wheel drive or big ute but, at least, a BIG boot full. It would be great to get this to the shelter (esp. the short-dated food) ASAP
If you have spare / unused stretcher beds, plastic dog baskets, bedding, food, metal food bowls, leads, collars, toys, etc which you'd like to donate, please contact me, many thanks
