Community Safety Meeting
Come along and hear how local police and agencies are keeping Tāmaki safe and raise any concerns you may have with them directly.
Last year, panellists representing local, regional, and national government, Auckland Transport and NZ Police connected in response to concerns about reducing crime and addressing offending.
What’s been happening since September? Join us, participate, and find out. In addition to our panellists, representatives from Neighbourhood Support, Victim Support, Community Patrols NZ, Ngati Paoa and Ruapotaka Marae will be on hand to share their mission and invite your interest.
I am accepting pre-submitted questions so we can maximise the time available. Please email your questions to mptamaki@parliament.govt.nz.
Poll: 🗑️ Would you be keen to switch to a fortnightly rubbish collection, or do you prefer things as they are?
Aucklanders, our weekly rubbish collections are staying after councillors voted to scrap a proposed trial of fortnightly pick-ups.
We want to hear from you: would you be keen to switch to a fortnightly rubbish collection, or do you prefer things as they are?
