Uplands Kindergarten
Tuakana-teina is a concept from te ao Māori and refers to the relationship between an older (tuakana) person and a younger (teina) person. Within teaching and learning contexts, this can take a variety of forms such as peer to peer, younger to older, older to younger, or able/expert to less able/expert. Today Ella's big brother came in to share the cooking skills he learned during a holiday programme. We made the most delicious biscuits with our children at Uplands Kindergarten. Tino pai.
