Found a lost cat (is it lost or stray?)

Beatriz from Meadowbank

I found this ginger cat under a pathway at the end of stonefields wetland. 4 paws and chest under neck area are white.
It started meowing at me and followed me around the whole track crossing the way in front of me all the time.
It started meowing and it came out from under the wood pathway and as it was following me it kept marking the way back with its chin.
It looked very lost. I felt he wanted me to take him somewhere. It kept grooming/ rubbing and purring at me.
I didn't have my car that time so i left him/her there. No collar and jumped scared in the bush everytime someone else aproached.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
