Water contamination information
There are often water contamination issues from streams flowing into both Hobson Bay and Orakei Basin.
We have put together a discussion document which provides more information on the issues, what is being done and how you can keep safe.
Follow the link below for full details. but as a golden rule at the moment just keep animals and children out of the water in these areas, especially the urban streams. www.safeswim.org.nz... is a great website with current information on water quality so do get into the habit of checking there before heading to the beach.
Keep safe out there.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
