All of the public can now catch this bus service especially those who live, work or visit the area. It has been a year in the making but we owe our thanks to Pippa Coom and her team at the Waitemata board and the New Zealand Human Rights Commission, Vivian Naylor and Colin Holman and Peter Moth from Auckland Transport who understood how important it was and worked hard to replace a bus service for those of us who will use this new bus service. Now we have to support it. So please use the 134 bus service if you live, work or visit the area. For safety, accessibility, and mobility of all those who live, work or visit the Williamson Ave and surrounding areas in Grey Lynn.

The "feebate" scheme wouldn't cost the taxpayer anything, instead using money gained by putting a fee on imported high-emissions cars in order to make imported hybrids, electric cars, and other efficient vehicles cheaper with a subsidy.

Do you think Auckland could run out of water?

Todd Niall Reporter from Central Leader

Hi Neighbours, hard to believe in a cold damp winter that water supply could be an issue, isn't it. Watercare is asking that we avoid waste, have shorter showers and so on, because the storage lakes are below normal. If you remember the 1994 crisis, read this article.
