Ambury Farm Fitness Challenge

5km / 10km Fun Run / Walk

Surprise yourself – have a go! More than just a run, a flat course on park roads and trails, through bush sections and alongside the Manukau Harbour. Free pancakes at the finish, recorded finish times, a native tree planted for each competitor!

Where: Ambury Park, Mangere. Entrance from Ambury Road
When: Sunday, Nov. 10th; starts 9am
Registration: on the day - from 8:15am

● Entry on the day: $10-00 for 10km event / $5-00 for 5km event (no eftpos available)
● Families (2 adults and all children): $25-00. Parents need to accompany children under the age of 12 please.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
