Seeking winter donations in our Botany SPCA Op Shop, can you help?

Got some beautiful things you're ready to part with? đŸ§„ Our Botany SPCA Op Shop is preparing for the cooler months and are currently in need of winter casualwear and accessories, both men’s and women’s — think warm jackets, boots, beanies, scarves.

Our Botany team would love to take them off your hands and help raise funds for our vulnerable animals in need while we're at it! đŸŸ


Drop-offs during opening hours are welcome, or give us a call if you’re unsure:

Kƍnae: Find Your Records

If you want to know how to request records about you or your whānau visit Kƍnae: My Records Guide konae.org.nz.

Kƍnae has information on more than 60 state and faith-based organisations that have records for over 800 homes and places in Aotearoa New Zealand about people who have been in their guardianship or care.

The Kƍnae map shows past and present places in Aotearoa New Zealand like children’s homes, hospitals, orphanages, boarding schools, Youth Justice facilities and many more.

Each place on the map has details about who was responsible for running it and how to get records.

The map can be searched and filtered by
- name
- location
- date range
- religion
- type of organisation.
