World of Cultures calling you - Get Involved with Highland Park Library
Highland Park Library would like to work with individuals and groups from our community to deliver a diverse range of events as part of “World of Cultures” between 21 March and 10 April 2023.
World of Cultures is an annual multicultural festival that celebrates the vibrancy of all cultures in Tāmaki Makaurau.
If you love engaging with people and would like an opportunity to share your culture through performance, music, traditional games, workshops, storytelling, or to share your migrant journey, we would love to hear from you!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
