Parking at the Botany Town Centre
IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE THE STAFF CAR PARKS ARE, CONSIDER YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
THINK AGAIN, YOU MIGHT GET A $65 PARKING FINE.
We were going shopping at Botany Town Centre, didn't want to park too close to other cars, and thought it would be a good idea to park far away from everyone, under the trees somewhere with shade. No one would imagine come back half an hour later with the ticket stuck on the windscreen describe that we were in a staff car park.
IT WAS TOTALLY DISGUSTED, CLEARLY A MONEY GATHERING SCHEME, NOT CLEAR NOR WITH A BIG ENOUGH SIGNAGE TO SHOW, OR A SECTION BLOCKED OFF THE STAFF CAR PARK IN ANY WAYS, JUST FADED BLUE LINE ON THE GROUND.
Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
