Accident
At approximately 07 25 Tuesday 1st April my car was hit by a bus at the roundabout Buck’s Beach rd and Gills rd, I would like to thank all those who stopped to assist and help and all those who asked if I needed a push or help in anyway and asking about my welfare it is truely appreciated and shows the goodness in human nature. She escaped today just this afternoon at 1, if anyone has sighted or has seen, picked up, please contact 021-177-8685 mobile number, or 02040978905. She's a small Chihuahua, whitish in colour. She doesn't have a collar on possibly today.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
