Swimming today at Little Bucklands Beach and Bucklands Beach
Both of these beaches were deemed unsafe for swimming today by councils officials Safeswim website. High levels of sewerage had compromised water quality after rain. .Drove past both beaches round 5 today and 100s in water. Unfortunately thinking will be lots sick people tomorrow. People should be checking website that updates daily to see where its safe to swim. Very sad state of affairs that we have to do this though..

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
