Washable Face Masks
How are you all coping with the 2nd Lockdown in Auckland? I know it's hit some families hard. I used my "spare" time sewing face masks for my family. When my friends saw them, they said " I want some of them too". So am selling them for just $8 or 2 for $15 + postage or pick up from Sunnyhills. It's been a great way to use up the material I have stored for many years. And for every mask sold, I am donating $1 to Howick Croquet Club. Please let me know how many you would like. I have attached a photo of me and my granddaughter on the morning of the 2nd lockdown. I have used up all of the bright material Issy & I are wearing but still have plenty of options. Looking forward to helping you keep "covered" from COVID.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
