It might seem confusing to be told “stay at home, stay in your bubble” and yet at the same time we are also encouraging people to visit their family doctor’s clinic to get the flu vaccination. It is still very important whaanau to get your flu vaccination in preparation for winter, and this can be done in a safe way.
If you are pregnant, over 65 years old, or an adult or child under four who has an on-going health issue, you can already get your FREE flu shot now!
But you must call your doctor’s clinic first and follow their instructions; they will take all the necessary steps to keep you safe. Call them now!
The flu vaccine does not protect against Covid-19; however it will help prevent Influenza, which is a serious illness.
