Community Support Needed for a family
We’re reaching out to our community to support a family who have recently experienced a robbery. They lost almost everything - appliances, furniture, and children’s Christmas presents were stolen.
This whānau has eight children aged between 2 and 14 years old, and at the moment they are all sleeping on the floor. Beds and bedding are the highest priority right now, as the family rebuilds their home and a sense of stability.
If anyone is able to help:
Beds, mattresses, or bedding
Household items
Small appliances
Furniture
Christmas gifts for the children
Your kindness would make an enormous difference during what should be a joyful time of year.
If you would like to help or find out more about what’s needed, please contact me. We will coordinate drop-offs and collection to make the process as easy as possible.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
