Stop letting my tires down

Danielle from Remuera

To whomever is letting my tires down on Wootton Road, I'd appreciate it if you'd stop!! I live here, I am currently off work and on crutches and cannot afford to continue dealing with it. This is the second time in two weeks. Each time you do it I have to call AA out, to change the tire, I then have to try and get the car to a garage to have the tire tested for a puncture and pay for whatever you have done. I am not earning at the moment so not only is getting this sorted a nightmare but it is taking much needed funds from me. The reality of what you are doing and the amount i have to pay translates into food I cannot pay for and medical treatments I cannot attend. There is also a safety issue here, what if I didn't notice it and drove off.....

If you dont like me parking on the road, where I legally can, then leave a note with your reasons and request. I will probably say get a life because it is right outside my house and it is legal but at least we can have a conversation.

We are not difficult neighbors- we do not make excessive noise, we are not nosey or unpleasant. In fact I'm an emergency service worker and would happily help anyone who knocks on my door.

Stop being so unpleasant and unneighborly. If it continues I will lodge a harassment complaint with the police. I am now stuck with limited transport thanks to your pathetic and nasty actions. please stop and think before doing this again, it has made my life beyond difficult today, I am now missing a surgical appointment because of it.

Sorry for the rant but enough is enough

Danielle

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
