Grocer.nz
If you haven’t already, check out grocer.nz
It’s really good. You can search online for the cheapest groceries in your area, by choosing all your local supermarkets, and searching for what you need.
It will give you all the prices from their websites, and you select the items with the cheapest prices, then when you go to “plan” it will group the items by the cheapest at the appropriate store. So you’ll have each store with the cheapest items from your list.
You can tap on the group and it will tell you which items to get at each store, to save the most.
Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
