Look out for a CCTV robot coming to a pipe near you! 🤖
If you’re in Karori, Tawa, Churton Park, Glenside, Grenada, Silverstream, Stokes Valley or Avalon, you may see these little guys at work continuing our inspections of the most critical pipes across our region – the essential pipes that would have unacceptable impacts on the local community or environment should they fail. These inspections help us to plan repairs and replacements.
While we had largely completed an initial assessment of these assets earlier in the year, we are adding to our knowledge base with further physical inspections. Our crews will be using a number of innovative methods including CCTV robot technology. 👷
