Small/medium doggo wanted
A neighbour/friend of mine is on the lookout for a dog. She has had dachshunds on and off for many years but lost her last one during lockdown. She would like to get a new small/medium dog (not necessarily a dachshund) but has had no joy at finding one in shelters etc. She would prefer one 4 - 5 years old, so not a puppy. Does anyone know where she may find one?
She loves her dogs and it would have a wonderful home.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
