We are looking for someone who is reliable, looking for a… View moreOur volunteer group is looking for a new assistant co-ordinator who will represent the Community Fruit Wellington brand and help encourage and manage the picking, preserving and distribution of excess backyard fruit in the Wellington region. We are looking for someone who is reliable, looking for a longer-term commitment, has good communication skills and an ability to deal respectfully with people of all ages and backgrounds. This is a volunteer, not paid, opportunity.

One of our regular donors has passed her large collection of new/unused preserving jars on to us. We are offering them to our supporters for a suggested koha donation of $7 for the 1 x litre jars and $5 for the .5 litre jars - we are happy to offer a discount if buying more than a couple. They come… View moreOne of our regular donors has passed her large collection of new/unused preserving jars on to us. We are offering them to our supporters for a suggested koha donation of $7 for the 1 x litre jars and $5 for the .5 litre jars - we are happy to offer a discount if buying more than a couple. They come with metal screw on bands and seals and are in pristine condition. Any funds raised will go to a community effort near where our donor lives.
