Wings Of Hope
đOn Wings Of Hope Always be kind.
If you see someone falling behind, walk beside them.
If someone is being ignored, find a way to include them.
If someone has been knocked down, lift them up.
Always remind people of their worth.
Be who you needed when you were going through hard times.
Just one small act of kindness could mean the world to someoneđ
Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to âexuberanceâ? đ„
In The Postâs opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, weâre âallergic to exuberance.â
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

New neighbour
Okay folks, if you feed your animals outside, you might want to rethink that. We have new nocturnal neighbours, inside Havelock North.
There is a very well fed brush tail possum up the pĆhutukawa tree in my garden.
I donât know where itâs come in from, but itâs in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, so keep an eye on your pet doors, open windows and doors and pet food.
Iâll be notifying council and DOC tomorrow.
