I am finding it hard to believe

Dave from Levin

So after a fortnight the pantry is bare and I am going to have to shop . Looked Thursday while I had a couple of days reserve but the lines went round the block .Went down this morning ( watch broken so no idea of time , 8.45 ish would be a guess looking at the time now ) and they are lines up right around the carpark at Countdown. Its been closed for one day ,I just cannot believe you have all run out of essential supplies in one day . I have no choice really , I will have to go and stand in line , but a bit later now it would seem . It just beggars belief that so many people in this town are either uncaring about others , supremely selfish , or just plain stupid that they believe ESSENTIAL shopping means going every day or two , my faith in humanity wanes

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
