My Resene Colour Your Community nomination

Mark from Burnside

Community Focus Trust - Community Garden. A mural is all we need to give our Community Garden a lift. The Community Focus Trust is currently establishing a community garden for all to use in St Albans Christchurch, which as you can see the corrugated fence would love a nice design.

A local school will help design and paint this for our garden. This garden will not only supply fresh produce but be a social and learning hub for the community, so a splash of colour is all we need.

This is one of many projects that Community Focus Trust have set up to connect and engage with their community, so giving some colour to this fence will not only brighten up the garden but will also brighten up someone's day as they visit.

On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
