Explosions In The Night.
You keep busy and work hard during the day, then you enjoy a peaceful evening apart from the odd intrusion of poorly muffled vehicles, or over-enthusiastic "throttle-jockeys" keen to advertise the potency of their motorcycle's exhaust-to-gear-change experience, and then you finally get your head down to sleep undisturbed until morning only to be rudely aroused by a sequence of explosions comprised of rapid booms that reverberate through the neighbourhood well past the hour for legal fireworks displays...and these late night pyrotechnics are apparently produced by homemade devices...I pray for deliverance from this antisocial mayhem!
