Elections - please vote!

John from Foxton

Just to clarify the situation: I am standing for both HDC and the Foxton Community Board as I want to continue working for the community. If I am fortunate enough to get sufficient support to gain a seat in Council [where my experience can make a greater difference], I will have to relinquish my seat on the Community Board. I cannot be elected to both.

However if elected to Council I will almost certainly be the HDC Representative on the Foxton Community Board. If you feel my continued input will benefit our community please put a tick alongside my name, John Girling, where you see it on the voting papers.

Thank you.

We definitely need homes that are fit to live in but there are often frustrations when it comes to getting consent to modify your own home.
Do you think changes need made to the current process for building consent? Share your thoughts below.

Lest we forget...

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.

Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
